Highlights
-
Graduated in 2011 with a BA Hons Degree in Performance.
Since then, I have starred in A Streetcar Named Desire in February, where I played the demanding role of 'Blance Du Bois' with Nice Swan Theatre Company in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As soon as I finished the show, I made plans to move to London, where I am now living indefinitely.
In June, I performed as the WPC in ITV's DCI Banks and started my next adventure... My own short film, 'Sanctuary', where I have developed the concept and starred in the film itself, as the victimised Surrogate 27. This will be premiered in January all around the UK as our first film with our production company 'TwentySeven Productions'.
My agent, Janet Plater, and I have successfully worked towards jobs such as BBC's Inspector George Gently as 'Becky Thomas' and The November Club's award winning promenade performances of "Unfolding Wallington" and "Operation Pied Piper". This year, Operation Pied Piper has been nominated for a Culture Award!
Last year I visited Edinburgh Fringe with original, political satire "Internal Affairs" before we were asked to extend the show to a full length play and transfer to a new writing venue in Newcastle upon Tyne. This received critical acclaim and we have each individually gone on to work for directors and producers who saw this performance.
