About me
I am fascinated by storytelling and the human capacity to individually or collectively immerse oneself in narrative journeys. I have always been captivated by the make-believe and how one may interact with imagined spaces and places. My love of performance was ignited at secondary school when I was involved in two contrasting productions - Death of a Salesman and 4.48 Psychosis. I auditioned and was accepted into Tring Park School for the Performing Arts, as a member of the full time Acting Course, in 2019, and graduated from the Upper Sixth in 2021. I have received vocational training in a variety of core dramatic skills including singing, movement, dance, text and performance. In my first year, 2019, I was involved in a TIE (Theatre In Education) project that toured local primary schools teaching KS2 Science. TIE helped me to develop my ensemble work, maintain energy and to better understand audience engagement. In 2020, I was also involved in a performance of Lorca’s ‘The House of Bernada Alba’ adapted by Rona Monro, where I was cast in the role of Maggie.Additional skills:
Outside of acting, my favourite hobby is sport. I enjoy running, swimming and netball. The most adventurous and rewarding sport I participate in is rock climbing. I have been training chorally for the past eight years and have been in a church choir during the majority of both my primary and secondary school education. Highlights have included singing in Ampleforth Abbey and Portsmouth Cathedral.
I also play the drums and find them to be incredibly freeing and expressive.
Additional information:
I am always trying to improve my skills in acting, and attend various courses laid on by different performing arts companies to enhance and learn all different aspects, from straight acting to comedy.I love to try something new and apply myself with full commitment to each new request to expose myself to the diversity of acting.
I am also a member of Spotlight. Alongside my vocational studies at Tring, I took A Levels in Geography, Psychology and English Literature
