About me
I am a committed actor based in the North West. I have an athletic build and have been involved in sport throughout my life, playing rugby union at a semi professional level. I take my work very seriously and I enjoy working with an ambitious team. I believe that I can bring characters to life on screen and express real, and genuine emotion. I am prepared to develop my craft and work with people who are also driven and committed.Thank You

Highlights
-
Within my career I have created characters that are real and believable and worked in contrasting settings such as theatre, film sets, festivals, prisons, youth offending, medium secure units and forensic mental health hospitals. For the past three years I have worked with a theatre company specialising in delivering real and life changing theatre in prisons and also the community. As my experience is rather diverse please refer to the list below for details of the parts I’ve taken on so far in my career:
Theatre
Character Production & Company
Valentine Twelfth Night – Theatre by the lake (Cumbria)
Gus Gascoigne Anorak of fire – Chester University

Liam (18) – Young Offender Hectic – Geese Theatre Company
Drug User Previous - Geese Theatre Company
Jake (16) – Young Offender Hitting Out - Geese Theatre Company
Various Characters in full mask Journey Woman - Geese Theatre Company
Domestic Violent Perpetrator Hidden - Geese Theatre Company
Domestic Violent Perpetrator Stay – Geese Theatre Company

Film
Short films - I have taken part in two short films recently with local filmmakers from the west midlands area. Listed below are brief descriptions of the characters I created:
* Dean (28) - in a relationship with Lucy. Dean loses his job due to the recession and as a result his relationship with Lucy ends. He becomes depressed and breaks down emotionally after splitting with his partner.
*Mick (21) - Mick is living rough and wakes up on a park bench. He delivers a speech
From Shakespeare’s twelfth night, he expresses his disgust for the people who have wronged or hurt him in his life. This is delivered straight to camera, monologue style.
As you will see from my acting experience I performed a great deal of community / outreach theatre mainly in secure settings within the UK. This experience has been crucial in my development as all the roles have needed to be real and accurate, throughout this process I have realised that this is where my strengths lie as an actor. I want to use all my experience and develop my screen acting skills, I am committed, hard working and I like to work as part of an ambitious team. I love being directed and adapting to different styles of work. I know I lack in screen acting experience, however all I am asking is for an opportunity to meet and show you what I have to offer.
Many Thanks
