Highlights
-
The experiences I have had to date include working with the National Youth Theatre, a series regular in Showtime's Award winning TV series 'The Borgias' and last summer working with the Brownsea Island Open Air Theatre company to perform Shakespeare's 'Titus Andronicus', where I took on the role of one of the villains, Demetrius. The play also included a lot of stage combat scenes where I was trained by a professional stage combat coach, and for me I found this the most enjoyable part of the production. All these amazing opportunities have strengthened the idea that a professional career in acting is what I want to do.
I have completed an acting foundation course at Rose Bruford in London. Since secondary school, I have tried to take part in and see many productions in as different styles as possible. For the last 3 years at secondary school, I participated in the annual UK Rock Challenge competition, progressing to the premier finals in 2016. Whilst studying for A' Levels, I assisted my drama teacher with rehearsals for the younger students. In 2017 I performed as Rick in Alan Ayckbourn's 'Woman in Mind' with the Bournemouth Little Theatre Company. Recently I have collaborated with students on the BA and MA Directing courses at Bournemouth University. This included the short film 'Children' and I played the lead. 'Children' won best student film at the 2019 London International Motion Picture Awards, and was shortlisted for several other international awards.
