About me
I am a 21 year Northern Irish performer and have recently completed my BA Hons Musical Theatre Degree at the University of Cumbria (UoCIA)
I have aspired to be a performer since the age of 11 and having completed my degree, have decided to follow an acting focused path, whilst also holding on to my Musical skills. I want to gain some experience in Stage and Screen acting before continuing my studies to further my education in the performing arts industry.
I have experience in a wide range of fields, including short film, children's entertainment (Character work), Theatre and Musical Theatre.
Acting experience
Amy began her training at the Belfast School of Performing Arts in 2011, training there on Saturday's until 2017 when she moved to the JH Academy of Theatre Arts. she trained with JH Academy until June 2017 when she left the company to continue her training with a degree in Musical Theatre at the University of Cumbria.
Throughout the last ten years, Amy has performed in a large selections of shows including Northern Irish premiers (Miss Saigon). Other shows include Chicago with world class choreographer Phil LaDuca, Phantom of the Opera, The Addams Family Musical and Evita.
Amy also took part in the rehearsal process for a production of Merrily We Roll Along which unfortunately due to COVID- 19 was cancelled.
Amy also has experience on a film set, in 2014 she played the lead female in a short film "The Tremendous Silence of Mid July" by Planet Ogo Media, in 2017 Amy stared again in a short comedy skit "Paisley Boom", made by the same company.
