Additional Information
I have performed principle roles for paying customers in many local theatre productions, including Rock of Ages, Spamalot, The Crucible, And Then There Were None, A Christmas Carol and The Pugilist Specialist. The latter we took on tour in and around the Bristol region.
I have worked for Mitsubushi Motors as the face of their online e-learning workshop. I presented the new Shogun Sport to camera for corporate videos.
I have starred in and worked on a crowd funded independent feature film ‘Follow The Crows’ which was filmed in and around the Wiltshire countryside. Ive also performed in numerous short films and popped up playing smaller rolls in a few other indie films.
I had the pleasure to work on a few professional movie sets as a background artist. Although this is not an achievement in itself, I do feel it has been valuable experience. It has provided me with a greater understanding of large productions as I could observe and be a part of a professional set. I was able to learn and compare to the independent location shoots Ive done and also watch true acting professionals I aspire to emulate, such as Michael Sheen, Dan Stevens and Ewen Bremmer.
In 2019, I made my first feature film with a production company, filmed in Norway. I was proud to be chosen at the audition stage, from hundreds of candidates, for the role of ‘Arnholm’ in a contemporary adaption of Ibsen’s play ‘The Lady From The Sea’ due to be released later in 2020. This was a huge chance for me to impress and at the end of the 2 week filming schedule, the production team (which included the DoP from the movie Yesterday) was very happy with my work and my professionalism. I eagerly await it’s release.
The film centres around Elida, a woman who’s heart belongs to the sea. Elida is torn, facing internal conflicts due to the men in her life. She longs for the mystery of a sailor she once knew fleetingly but knows she has a loving husband and doctor at home that offers her the comforts and securities she needs. And then there’s Arnholm who is her good friend, someone she has always confided in. Yet, Arnholm harbours a secret love for Elida, which only serves to confuse matters further.
About me
My passion is film. I’ve always been an avid movie watcher. From as early as I can remember, I wanted to act in the movies but never believed it could be possible.
In 2015 I realised I was wasting life and so I turned to my love of acting. I began throwing myself into theatre and making short films. In 2016 I starred in my first independent feature film and have since gone on to work with many directors on a variety of projects where I have gained a broad range of experience.
In September 2019, I made my first feature film with a production company, filmed in Norway. I was proud to be chosen at the audition stage, from hundreds of candidates, for the role of ‘Arnholm’ in a contemporary adaption of Ibsen’s play ‘The Lady From The Sea’ due to be released later in 2020.
I bring a professional work ethic to every production I am fortunate enough to work on. I pride myself on my ability to work hard and take direction well. I’m a reliable team member who is in love with the whole process of acting for screen. There’s no big ego here with delusions of grandeur. I’m a professional and an asset to any film set. I know what needs to be done and I get on with it.
