    About me

Graduate of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire

MFA: Acting - The British Tradition (with Distinction) 2016-2018

My training has its roots dug deep into classical British theatre, from Shakespeare to Rattigan, Restoration comedies to hard-hitting contemporary dramas and everything in between. As well as exposure to extraordinary text work under the direction of Andrew Normington (Bristol Old Vic), Lynn Farleigh (RSC, BBC's Pride and Prejudice) and Scott Ellis (Merely Theatre), I've also divulged into devising; whether it be collaborating on George Costigan's physical theatre production Careen: The True History of Bonnie and Clyde (Birmingham Rep, 2017) or writing and performing my own one-woman show The Concrete Heart.

Prior to drama school I dabbled in assistant directing, set design, Meisner technique, world performance, puppetry and theatre in education at the University of East Anglia.

My inspiration is fueled by the little things in life and the nature of humanity I witness when attempting the Metro crossword at my favourite could-be-considered-hipster coffee shop.

According to others, I'm bubbly, witty and a total geek.
