About me
I performed on stage in musicals/bands for about 8 years between removed , of which most of the shows I had lead roles in.Musicals include Godspell (Judas), Fame (Joe Vegas), Joseph twice (Pharaoh and Levi), Twelfth Night Fever (Orsino), Slice of Saturday Night (Rick) and West Side Story/Honk/Godspell/The Wiz. I have had several write ups in the local papers, all have been very positive
I'm extremely confident at character acting and have a really good memory for remembering lines. I'm also a musician, so i sing (also harmonies), play guitar (lead and rhythym), bass, drums (and alternate), keys and also beatbox looping. All of which I have been doing now for 20 years.
I've been the front man in a 7 piece band recently (2013-2017) called "The Marginal" (wearethemarginal.bandcamp.com), and we recorded 2 EP's. I also play solo acoustic under the alias of "Showboy Blake" (www.facebook.com/showboyblake) and act the silly @3meninapodcast (threemeninapodcast.com), a comedy music show.
Self-Recording
I have an Apple iMac with quad processor and lots of memory. I use Logic Pro with a Zoom thunderbolt audio interface. I also have an Sm7b - one of the best dynamic microphones around. I have many instruments I have/can play, including a guitar - acoustic, semi acoustic and electric (w/pedals), keyboard, bass guitar, uke, mandolin and I can also beatbox using my korg kaoss pad.License & Passport

Highlights
-
I have been on two tv shows as a a supporting artist over the last 6 months, I have 2 IMDb credits coming my way once the two short films I was in has been edited and released.
I have one other short coming up at the end of March 2017, so in May 2017 I should have enough for a showreel with 5 different productions.
Then I'll proceed to getting a spotlight account once the showreel has been made.
I was also on the ITV Nighty Show once this year on a quiz...I'm not sure when it aired, but was a lot of fun nevertheless and quite a surprise :) -
Only in the musicals that I performed in, but choreographered by some professionals.
-
I am 30 and have been playing and singing guitar since I was 10. I was already on stage singing and playing guitar by the time I was 11, and then spent 7 years singing and acting in musicals/concerts.
I have performed on stage since I was 10, and have been in musicals for about 8 years between 1998-2006, of which over half the shows I had lead roles in. Musicals include Godspell (Judas), Fame (Joe Vegas), Joseph twice (Pharaoh and Levi), Twelfth Night Fever (Orsino), Slice of Saturday Night (Rick), and also West Side Story/Godspell/The Wiz/Honk to name but a fewest . I also performed multiple parts in "Out Country's Good" (Harry Brewer - one of the leads) whilst at college. All of which were shown at the Octagon in Yeovil, a semi-professional theatre.
I'm extremely confident at character acting and I'm very versatile in front of a camera. -
I am a musician at heart, so i can sing (also harmonies), play guitar (lead and rhythm), bass, drums (and alternate), keys and also a bit of beat-boxing. I was lead guitarist band called Forgotten Enemy for 3 years, and in that time we toured Czech Republic and got a positive review from Metal Hammer with our first and only official EP.
I got a listing in NME for playing at the Music Box, played live on Ujima 98fm (Bristol FM station), and now in 2017 I'm going to play Summer Solstice at Stone Henge on the last horse and cart stage left in England, registered by English Heritage, and probably another 6-8 gigs with him around the country.
I've also recently joined a band called Boy le Monti and we need a drummer/keys player.... :)
I'm also in a 7-piece band at the moment called "The Marginal" (www.themarginal.uk), with two eps (one new AND FREE) on bandcamp (wearethemarginal.bandcamp.com), so I have lots of shows/festivals booked up in the summer time. I busk and play under the name of "Showboy Blake" (www.soundcloud.com/showboy).
