    Sample reviews:

    Teechers - 2015

"...It is Clapson who draws the eye most throughout the play however. He is constantly 100% in the moment, even when stood at the side while the other two play a scene. His range, from gawky embarrassed teenager, to dramatic Mrs Parry, is inspiring to see." (Reviewers Hub)

"...Jake Addley repeats the role of Jeff Nixon and is joined by Brad Clapson, whose greatest attribute is his ability to butch it up and camp it up in equal measure. Lucy Benson-Brown establishes her own set of characters but without the diversity of Clapson, who skilfully flits between headteacher Mrs Parry and sniffling Simon Patterson." (The Stage)

"...Out of the three cast members, however, Brad Clapson who played Hobby was exceptional. His acting, dancing and general stage demeanour had the entire audience roaring with laughter from the opening scene." (Film and TV Now)

    Heartbreak Hotel - 2015

"Brad Clapson has great fun and is excellent as an ACHE worker with a treasure trove filled with objects of heartbreak, bringing a large element of interactivity to the production; the remaining scenes are certainly more promenade than immersive, and it can feel clunky moving from scene to scene." (Whats on Stage)

"...For me, the joy of this type of theatre is to be completely immersed in the show and the actors play their parts so convincingly, especially Brad Clapson – who was the pinnacle of the show – that I was totally engaged for the full hour." (The Arts review)

    Putting It together - 2015

"...Regular injections of comedy appear in the form of the compere/narrator, Clapson, who combines Alan Carr and Nathan Lane with his never-ending catalogue of hilarious glances and gestures, which he teams with polished vocals to great effect." (The Reviewers Hub)

"...Especially striking is the sense of ensemble, with BRIT School graduate Brad Clapson’s camp narrator figure working the audience with vaudevillian ebullience and an altogether nimble sureness." (Musical Theatre Review)

    About me

Brad is a versatile, highly skilled true triple threat performer.

Trained originally at the B.R.I.T school, he has not been out of work since graduating.

His career has focussed on stage and presenting work, but he also owns and runs a very successful events management company, Omni Theatre, with director Rosie Hill. His company was mentored initially by the Princes Trust.

His stage credits have gained him dozens of outstanding reviews - and a large following of theatre goers and on social media.

Brad has a reputation as a hard working traditional musical theatre and stage actor, and a growing reputation as a presenter through his own show, and presentations for the Lexicon.

He has been working as a Movement Director on large scale shows for the past two years, and from 2018 is focussing his career toward more direction, presenting and also film and television roles.
