About me
Acting has always been my passion and I began training whilst still in school, taking interest in all aspects of and opportunities to perform. I branched out of theatre and into film professionally as I was studying theatre at university in Toronto, Ontario. Shortly after I finished university I moved to Vancouver, British Columbia to pursue film and television acting there. At that time I began to prioritize writing as well, and in addition to finishing a full length play solo and another collaboratively with another Canadian actress, began working on co-writing a short film in BC which became one of eight to win funding out of eighty applicants from the Crazy 8s competition. I played the title female role of Riley in the thirteen minute short which recently won the Vancouver Queer Film Festival's Gerry Brunet Memorial Award for Best BC Short (2016). I am thrilled to be in England now to immerse myself in both theatre and film.
