    About me

A professional actor since 2009 with extensive experience across stage, TV and film in the UK and abroad. Deep, versatile and engaging baritone natural RP British voice with fantastic versatility – from cool and charismatic to bumbling aristocratic, outlandish to deadpan. Languages spoken include native English as well as fluent French and Spanish (BA/MA in Modern Languages) and basic Italian.

Theatre credits include lead roles in STRIPPED at Kings Head (OffCom Award Winner), AGAIN at Trafalgar Studios and ESCAPE THE SCAFFOLD at Theatre503, as well as working with the RSC's Gregory Doran on ANJIN: THE SHOGUN AND THE ENGLISH SAMURAI at Sadler's Wells.

TV and film experience includes DOCTORS and CONSENTING ADULTS for the BBC, as well as BURN BURN BURN and CAPTAIN WEBB, both of which received theatrical runs in the UK.

Training includes four years as a member of the Oxford University Dramatic Society and a Foundation in Devised and Physical Theatre at the Jacques Lecoq Theatre School in Paris. Since 2018 I have also been working consistently as a voice artist, and I am proud to be building a diverse portfolio that covers already covers infomercials and corporate B2B and B2C work.

I am hard-working and committed, and look forward to bringing my passion for collaboration and creativity to your project.

“Charles has supported myself and fellow Project Managers at The Outlook Creative Group across a range of voiceover projects for diverse business sectors and subject matter. His ability to take direction, understand the rationale behind approach and tone makes him a pleasure to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Charles in this regard and will certainly be considering him for future opportunities”
