About me
Eleanor is a recent graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland where she studied for three years on their BA Musical Theatre course, as an actor-musician.
During her graduating season she starred as Sally Bowles in 'Cabaret' directed by Andrew Panton to much critical acclaim. Whilst studying at the RCS she has been given many wonderful opportunities including; singing in a choir for Susan Boyle, taking part in a workshop of 'The Caucasion Chalk Circle'with Mark Thompson and a devising project, 'Notes to Self', directed by Dougie Irving, incorporating her actor musician skills as a pianist and her skills as an actor, singer and dancer. As well as piano, she plays guitar and the recorder.
Since graduating Eleanor has enjoyed theatrical acclaim appearing as the villainous Queen Rat in the hugely successful pantomime “Dick McWhittington” at Perth Concert Hall, starring as Helen in the tour of the musical “Hoax: Our Right To Hope”directed by Benji Reid. Eleanor has also begun her creative journey, having just completed a successful run of her award nominated new musical the Art of Skipping. This musical she co-wrote with Megan Hughes she also directed and produced with her company Purple Doors Productions.
Eleanor has also begun building her repertoire on screen working with “Pixel Revolution Films” on their next film “7 Days” following the story of blind Ultramarathon runner Dave Heeley, directed by the Higgins brothers. She has also played the supporting role of Alice in “CapriFig” productions debut film “RedWineTeeth”directed by Thomas Bird to be released soon. And recently start in a new short film Outgrowing words which premiered on Sky One in September.
