Reviews:
Play Shakespeare
"Throughout the play, the characters are on top form, with Lucio (Thomas Vilorio) and Mistress Overdone (Elizabeth Bloom) standing out. Their snide comments and random commentary in some very non-Shakespeare language add to the comedy, interaction and fun, and indeed these are the standout memories I will take away from this production."
Ink Pellet
"True comic relief came in the shape of the wonderful Elizabeth Bloom as Mistress Overdone...who in modern style talked to the audience, and added light touches. This watcher had to hold the slop bucket for 20 minutes. Great!"

Shakespeares England
"Overdone, the play's comic prostitute, is beautifully played by Elizabeth Bloom, who chats and flirts with the audience, and serves as a entertainingly cynical contemporary commentator on the action."

The Bespoke Blog
"I was entranced by Elizabeth Bloom's outrageous Mistress Overdone, a comfortably disreputable tart for whom the fourth wall is as transient an inconvenience as the illegality of prostitution...both actors brightened and energised every scene in which they appeared without eclipsing key (if somewhat more sober) characters..."

The List
"The production is brilliant - I highly recommend it. New actress, Elizabeth Bloom, was hilarious: such perfect comic timing, especially her non-verbal contribution. Also, a very atmospheric and historic theatre."
