About me
Formerly an academic (BA Hons., PhD), a lecturer in English literature at the University of London and Fellow of Leeds University, Ellie abandoned that life in 1980 to become an actress. After training at Mountview, Ellie wrote and performed in a one-woman play, My Dearest Kate (the story of Mrs Charles Dickens). Ellie has also been Co-Manager and Artistic Director of the Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury (1993-95), a script editor for BBC Lion Television, editor, writer and Adjunct Professor on several American University London Programmes.2019 Awarded 'Best Supporting Actress' by The British Horror Film Festival.
