Hettie gained a Distinction for her Masters in Musical Theatre at Mountview Academy of Performing Arts in 2015. In 2016 Hettie made her West End debut in The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s). Following three successful years as ‘Swing’ in the show, she took on the responsibility of Cover ‘Carlotta’ and Assistant Dance Captain in the UK & Ireland Tour of The Phantom of the Opera. This contract was sadly cut short due to COVID-19.
During the pandemic Hettie was part of an exciting project called School Channel and took on the role of ‘English Teacher’ performing in front of the camera using a teleprompter whilst also providing voiceovers. Throughout 2020 Hettie used her voice to bring joy and comfort by singing in her street, ‘Hettie Sings for her Street’ which can be found on You Tube.
Other credits include: Sunday Afternoon at the Musicals (Pizza Express Live) 2020, Thursford Christmas Spectacular 2019, West End Eurovision 2018 & 2019 (Adelphi Theatre and Shaftesbury Theatre), Dorothy Parker in Showtime's 48hr Challenge of Thoroughly Modern Millie (Adelphi Theatre), Elizabeth in Gay Pride and Prejudice (Phoenix Art Club), Ensemble in Sweeney Todd (Frogmore Paper Mill), Lead Performer in 16 Singers (UK Tour, Bath Theatre Royal, The Egg), Understudy Sandman and Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel (Iford Manor), Brick Lane Music Hall, Liz in Billy (Bernie Arts Centre), Ensemble in C’Mon Everybody (Tony Jopia Productions), Rapunzel in Into The Woods (Bridewell Theatre), Extra in The Theory of Everything (Universal Studios), The Countess in The Marriage of Figaro, Eliza in My Fair Lady (Prior Park Collage).
