Hi,

I'm an actor, writer and presenter with experience on stage, television, radio and live hosting. I also have a small theatre company which produces a comedy two-hander of Shakespeare's Richard III. My first career was in graphic design, so I very much enjoy working on the promotion, design and marketing side of a production. I have worked extensively on props, sets and print media. All good fun!

I have always played the piano (not great - just a self-taught vamper) and come up with tunes and songs - a couple professionally (more by accident rather than design!).
I became inspired by the violin a few years ago, so when I hit the big 40, I took lessons and have achieved my ABRSM Grade 8. I can ride a unicycle too. Jolly useful that!

I believe that a lifetime of experience is hugely valuable: the ups and downs, the people you meet, the challenges you overcome (or don't) are all grist to the mill when it comes to working on characters as an actor.
If you're lucky, when you reach your early fifties you know who you are and want you want. Then it's time to do it. No excuses!
