About me
I would describe myself as a very active, sporty yet fashion conscious guy. My hobbies include a keen interest in the methodology of film-making,football, traveling, and urban music. In 2001 i was crowned Mr. Asia UK in a nationwide beauty pageant. After a brief stint in modelling, i moved into acting roles in popular asian cable drama series'. In 2007 i made my Bollywood film debut as a supporting actor in a big budget feature film. Since then i have gone on to playing lead roles in short British dramas.I have basic language skills in Arabic, Gujrati and Punjabi. I am fluent in English, Bengali and Hindi. I would have no problems using my multi-lingual skills within a role. I have a strong passion for acting and firm belief in my dynamic ability to play various roles. I also understand how competitive, challenging and often harsh this industry can be, but feel that i have the tenacity & ambition to succeed. My desire and hard-working attitude are the backbone to my work ethic.Skills

I have worked with A-list Actors from the USA and India and also fine home grown actors. The experience allowed me to learn a great deal from them as well as develop a good network within both film industries. I'm fortunate to have access to these actors and receive thier support and advice whenever i'm offered new roles. Working alongside them & seeing their professionalism and passion was inspiring. i feel that unfortunately,British Asian talent is under-represented within the UK film industry. There are a small pool of actors who are recycled over & over & it's about time it changes. Being a British Asian,my heart lies with British film-making.I hope to one day appear in British television dramas & feature films.
