About me
I am a theatre maker, a director, a creator but above all else, a performer, an actor. I am passionate about all aspects of performance – I aim to bring peoples stories to life, to immerse myself in any character given to me and to tell each writer and characters truth as though it were my own. I have just finished a degree in Drama and Theatre in York, but I love the city so much that I've decided to stay here and complete a Masters degree in Theatre and Performance. I am keen to sink my teeth into any job I am given and aim to get as much experience as I can in all different areas.Acting experience:
Mabel Washington in a production of Fame! at Graham School, directed by Ruth Parker-Wakeling
Justice Charlier in a production of Rock of Ages at the YMCA Theatre, directed by James Aconley

Rona Lisa Peretti in a production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at Scarborough Sixth Form College, directed by Taryn Rhodes

Vi Moore in a production of Footloose with YSJ MPS, directed by Amy-Marie Neill
Mabel Washington in a production of Fame! at the YMCA Theatre, directed by James Aconley
Miss Lynch in a production of Grease at the YMCA Theatre, directed by James Aconley

Additional information:
I have been involved in amateur theatre from the age of eleven years old, my first role being Mrs Potts in ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ my schools musical. Once I got a taste of being onstage, I couldn’t stop – I have gone on to be lucky enough to play some amazing roles in my local theatre, my personal favourites being Justice Charlier in ‘Rock of Ages’ and Mabel Washington in ‘Fame.’ I have also been involved in the ensembles of many shows. This shows that I am able to confidently take a lead, but can also take a step back and work as part of a team for the good of the show. I am a strong character actor.
I have studied Drama & Theatre at York St. John University for three years already, as well of being an extremely active member of the Musical Production Society at the same university – in 2019, being elected as the Director of the same society. Because of this, I feel that I have learned some valuable skills that would make me an excellent candidate for this course. I am able to express myself confidently in front of a large group of people, take pride in my work and am an extremely hard worker. I have worked with many different types of text and script, showing that I can work with what I am given. I have also taken modules such as Funny Words, a comedic writing and performance class where we created much of the script through improvisation – something I am now extremely confident with. Being able to step up as Director shows that I can take on roles of responsibility and manage my time adequately.
