About me
I run my own tribute act and production company. Over the years I have performed in many places across the world from Dubai, Singapore, Vietnam to across Europe and the UK.3 years ago I played DC Wilson in ITV’s Emmerdale. I then took a small break to have my daughter and now I’m ready to get back to work.
I am happy, kind, fun and outgoing.

Highlights
-
I have played a student nurse in Children's Ward/The Ward and many other supporting roles in Heartbeat, Emmerdale, At Home With The Braithwaites and Coronation Street.
Throughout my tribute act career I have been interviewed and played cameo impersonations on many TV specials about Britney Spears for Channel 4's T4, BBC's Saturday Morning's Top Of The Pops with Fern Cotton and had a summer long special on MTV about life as a Tribute Act called Tribs! Your Working Week in 2005.
I got down to the last 50 in Popstars - The Rivals (Girls Aloud/One True Voice) and most recently performed on the final of XFactor as a Spice Girl at the homevisits on Leicester Square London surprising finalist Andrea Faustini.
My gameshow experience was for Weakest Link back in 2011. All I can say is I wasn't the first out and was the strongest link in round 2! -
I began stage acting from a young age mainly in pantomimes and musicals. I later joined Leeds Youth Opera at 11 with Jonathan Clift former Welsh National Opera and Opera North Producer/Director. I trained at Cathy Carroll Stage School, Masquerade children's theatre and SCALA all in Leeds throughout my childhood. I also attended summer schools at the West Yorkshire Playhouse working on plays such as Romeo and Juliet. I then went on to Thomas Danby College (BTec in Perf. Arts) and followed that with a HND in Musical Theatre at Newcastle College of Performing Arts.
I have normally played characters who are the protagonist, Sandy in Grease, Cinderella... (shy victim or sassy other). The styles of performances range from period to current. My favourite is dark, horror, thriller styles however I have been perhaps more suited to comedic roles. -
My early training began at Leeds Girls Choir when I was 8. I sang solo in many concerts at the Leeds Town Hall and also sang Little People and Castle on a cloud from Les Miserable alongside the adult choir at the Town Hall. I was entered into many singing competitions by my choir master Walter Bradley leading to my performance in the Top Talent Contest final in Leeds with Presenter/Actor Mark Curry.
At 11 I joined Leeds Youth Opera (see above) and widened my singing abilities. I could read music really well by now and found myself wanting to sing the harmonies rather than the melody so I was moved from Soprano to Alto. I also took up piano lessons which I did until the age of 17.
I would always volunteer myself for the solos at school in the choir and also began to play percussion and the glockenspiel in the school orchestra. I enjoyed music so much that some boys formed a band and asked me to join. We covered mainly Status Quo songs.
Leaving school I wanted to concentrate on acting so attended a college in Leeds I still found myself wanting to sing and dance too so moved on to Newcastle College of performing arts to study all 3 aspects of performing arts. After leaving full time education I got myself a full time job working in a live entertainment bar singing most weekends to around 2000 people. This then moved me into my current career of 16 years as a tribute artistes to Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Kylie Minogue, Lady Gaga and most recently Ellie Goulding. Over the years I have been a session singer for Jive Bunny's top 40 album 'Swing another Mood' and Music Factory's 'Mastermix' albums.
