About me
"Jenna is a true all rounder! She has fantastic stage presence and is confident, skilled and hardworking. Jenna has a natural flair for performance and her comedic skills are flourishing in drama. Jenna is a popular student as she is kind, thoughtful, friendly and polite." - Lindsay Partington, principle and director of Chester Stagecoach.I have 9 years experience in this industry, and combined with my bubbly personality, passion for the arts and my resilient nature, I believe I can pursue a professional acting career and thrive within the industry. I love working with people and I can work well in a team or independently when required. I am able and willing to take direction from people and can easily adapt my acting style to meet desired outcomes.
I joined Chester Stagecoach theatre school in 2011 where I studied the principles of acting, dance and singing. During my time at Stagecoach I had the opportunity to participate in a number of professional musicals, including Scrooge, Evita and Joseph and his amazing technicolored dream coat. In addition to this, I also performed in local Stagecoach shows, often as one of the leading characters, and my stage presence was often commented on.
I joined the Stagecoach agency and was invited to audition for 'Our Zoo', and various adverts. My love for the performing arts continued to grow and develop, and I am currently working towards achieving grade 7 in LAMDA, studying GCSE drama and acquiring skills in contemporary, jazz and tap dance. I want to pursue a career in acting/presenting, and I hope to gain experience from the opportunities here on Mandy.
Additional skills:
Training in the alto saxophone- working towards grade 6.
Dance tuition with Sophie Gallie including jazz, contemporary and tap.
One to one coaching in the acting Lamda syllabus- working towards grade 7. Achieved merits/distinctions in the other grades.
Additional information:
I am comfortable with handling animals and insects.
