  I am self taught in playing music, including the Guitar, Ukulele, Piano, Double Bass, Accordion, Percussion, Recorder and more.

  Training in European Physical Theatre had allowed me to improve my improvisation skill and spontaneity. I am able to adapt to situations using the methods and techniques of Gaulier and Lecoq.

  I have skills in Mask, Clowning, Commedia Dell'arte, Movement, Singing, Physical theatre, Dance, Puppetry, Devising, Collaborating, Script Work, Classic text and so forth.

  Since a young age, training at Co-op juniors, Stage Coach and Theatre train, I am fully developed in all fields of singing, dancing and acting.

  About me

  I am Jodie Davey.

  Professionally Physical Theatre trained in London with a 1st class BA (Hons), I have travelled with touring theatre productions including the companies New International Encounter, Dead Rabbits Theatre and In the Quirks Theatre company.

  I will be appearing in Bristol Tobacco Factory Theatre's Christmas show 2019 as Snow White in New International Encounter's family friendly show 'Snow White' filled with music and story telling for all to enjoy.

  In summer 2020 I will be performing Snow White at the New Victory Theatre in New York, The Wallis Los Angeles, and finishing the tour in The Asolo Rep Florida with NIE.

  I have appeared in various short films in the UK and look to expand my self in screen acting; I have worked on various feature films including Bohemian Rhapsody filling in as a Stunt SA, Black Mirror, How to Build a Girl, Nyela's Dream, BBC The Debutants, and Netflix's Eurovision.

  I pride my self in my flexibility of skills and different forms of art such as Theatre, Screen and Immersive theatre. I thoroughly love and enjoy the challenge of working with the audience and immersing them into the atmosphere. I have worked on The Walking Dead zombie attraction, Secret Cinema's 'Romeo and Juliet', 'Blade Runner' and 'The Handmaiden'.

  I look forward to working on upcoming projects in 2020 and would be thrilled to expand in each art form!
