I was born in Bolton, Greater Manchester in the UK in 1948.
Over the past 40 years I have worked at Hotels and Holiday Camps, travelled the world as a Radio Officer, repaired computers, worked as a Technical Customer Support Manager and an IT Consultant with Hewlett-Packard.
After drama training at Bolton College in 1990 I acted in over 50 theatre productions. I have also directed productions during this period. I have performed in an array of dramatic and comedy roles in productions ranging from Ayckbourn to Shakespeare. I have been trained in The Meisner Technique of acting. Greater Manchester Drama Federation awards include Best Actor (for Edward in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me) and Best Director (for The Rise and Fall of Little Voice)
Television credits include work for the BBC, Granada and Channel 4 and I have been in the BBC3
