Highlights
-
I have trained in many different genres of dance starting with tap at the age of 6, where I put on my little red tap shoes and pretended I was Dorothy from the wizard of Oz. A few years later I joined a freestyle dance school and travelled all over the country dancing in competitions and shows, including performing in the United Kingdom Freestyle Disco Display Team in the Birmingham Tattoo.
Soon came my passion for contemporary dance, which I would say is my main forte. At school I joined a contemporary dance company with whom I performed at many venues including the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, and was then one of eight picked to dance in the Baltimore state gala and schools in America.
After college I trained at London School of Dramatic Art, where I was taught latin and ballroom. During my time there I also attended contemporary classes at the Pineapple dance studios but sadly didn't get to meet Louie Spence.
I now live in Manchester, after achieving a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts, and have found a new passion in pole dancing. I also attend classes in Jazz and Contemporary as well as recently forming together my own dance troupe. -
Spotlight Pin:0616-6755-1912.
I have a huge variety of performance experience either on stage, film, television and radio.
At school I was awarded a scholarship for Stage Coach part time theatre arts school, which I attended for 2 years.
I then continued my development further by taking Drama and Theatre Studies at GCSE and A Level.
After finishing college I knew for certain that I wanted to act and so moved to London to study on an Acting Foundation Diploma at the London School of Dramatic Art. This course provided me with full time education, taught by real industry professionals, helping me discover the professional route I wanted to take. The end of the course led to an end of term production performed at the Tabard Theatre in London.
I have most recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts at the University of Salford. During my time at University I involved myself with many outside productions to prepare myself for the industry, including going on tour with 'Sitting on Offence' as part of Loose Lips Theatre Company.
Other professional companies I have had the opportunity of working for are the BBC and Slung Low. For more details on my past training and work experience, please take the time to look through my profile.
Since graduating I have performed in the Buxton Fringe Festival and been involved in many short films and a showcase.
