Directors comments:
Tonje Ness Meinhardt director of 'The Bionic Girl':
Leila was one was of many actresses that applied for the role of 'Chloe' she intintally sent in a recorded audition followed by a Skype audition with me. I chose her because when she got into the skin of the character at the audition, she transformed herself into how I imagined the character Chloe to be.
Leila was really great to work with on set. For the two days of filming she was always prepared and on time. Her performance was convincing and she took instructions well. She is professional, punctual and dedicated. I would definitely recommend her.
Robyn Forsythe director of 'Life As I Know It':
Leila is an extremely commited team member. Her motto is clear to see in all her work, as she always gives 100% every day. Her talent and passion make her a pleasure to work with on set; she always knows her lines, never complains and always has excellent ideas!
Amy Hill director of 'Kyle':
As a director I couldn't ask for a more engaging response as she pushed the boundaries past my own character development, delivering fantastic results. Her on-set attitude is a perfect balance of professionalism and fun and I look forward to working with Leila again in the future.
Naadav Soundry:
Leila is a talented and very hardworking actress. She listens carefully to direction and spends time working on her performance. She is easy to work with and very reliable. I look forward to working with her again.
Jason Croot co- director of 'Demons and Doors':
Leila was chosen from over 1000 applicants for a role in Demons and Doors a Feature Length Film her Character Marion required an intense powerful and believable performance, Leila delivered an exceptional display she had clearly researched the script and character, I believe Leila has a bright future in Acting and I would not hesitate to work with her again. www.imdb.com/name/nm2907429/
Lee Musson director of 'Shattered': 'Leila is a reliable and fun member of the cast who, as an actress, possesses a vulnerability in her performance that is engaging and she takes direction well'.
Muriel d'Ansembourg director of 'Just Another Day':
I worked with Leila on my first short for the London Film School 'Just Another day'. Leila has a strong presence on screen and isn't afraid to try new things. She's determent, professional and works well under pressure. One of the lines from the film comes from Leila's own experience and this really made a difference in her performance, she owned that line--it was a great addition to her character and I'm very grateful for it. I wish her all the best with her future projects.
Johannes Roberts director of 'When Evil Calls':
'Leila is a hardworking actress who is definatley someone to keep your eye on for the future'
Mark Burns director of 'Master and Victim':
'I had the pleasure of working with Leila Reid on a horror film shoot this summer. Leila was a last minute casting, who really helped us out. She on set with a positive attitude each day. She sank into the role very well and was a pleasure to have on set.'
About me
My motto is 'Never do Anything half Heartedly'.
2015 is a new start for me, same Leila, same work ethic, same commitment, same energy just a slightly different perspective. After spending 2014 and part of 2013 caring for my grandparents who both told me that hard work will get you where you need to be.
