About me
I am a bright, motivated, enthusiastic and organised creative individual with a developing track-record in acting, producing and directing for theatre.I have extensive experience in amateur and student theatre, and at the end of university was offered my first professional acting role, as Touchstone in 'As You Like It' with Sun and Moon Theatre. At The University of Exeter, the quality of teaching is recognised as among the best in the country, and I have been fortunate enough to work with leading academics and practitioners during my time there. Additionally, the department boasts an ever increasing body of notable alumni, and I am proud to have worked with extremely talented colleagues who are already going on to direct, produce and perform professionally in the industry.
After completing my undergraduate degree in 2018, I decided to continue my training as a performer at drama school, and I recently completed the MA Acting programme at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London. Despite current circumstances, we received outstanding training and I've developed more as an actor than I ever thought possible in one short year. Mountview's strength has been instilling within us the skills and tools to continue training independently after the MA is over, and I have carried on with my own personal and professional practice since the end of our course in July.
I have been uncompromising in my academic choices. My ultimate career aims have encouraged me down a vocational path. However, having achieved high grades at GCSE and A-levels, I opted for a demanding academic degree with a plan to develop my creative skills in parallel. It was extremely challenging at times, juggling the demands of both, but I believe I have been more than equal to the challenge. I attained an outstanding First class grade in a prestigious degree and have gone on to achieved highly during my time at Mountview (the written feedback has been excellent but we are still waiting on our final grades). I secured an agent after our digital showcase back in July, who has been working hard to connect us with casting directors, but I am an extremely self-motivated individual and I want to search for opportunities for myself as well.
