    About me

Louisa is a 26 year old soprano and actress from Hertfordshire. She trained at Sylvia Young Theatre School and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts before graduating from the Royal Northern College Of Music with a First Class BMus (Hons) in Vocal Studies and Opera. Whilst at the RNCM, Louisa was awarded the Freckleton Prize & Doherty Cup for Singing.

Louisa has been performing from a young age. She began singing when she was 6 years old with vocal coach Liz Harley and, at the age of 8, made her West End debut in Les Miserables at The Palace Theatre.

At the age of 9, Louisa played the role of Tilly in the World Première Concert Performance of Howard Blake's 'The Bear' as part of the 25th Anniversary Celebrations for 'The Snowman' at Birmingham Symphony Hall and The Barbican Centre.

As a child and teenager, Louisa performed in a number of Raymond Gubbay opera's at The Royal Albert Hall - Carmen, Tosca and La Boheme. Louisa was also a soloist for Paul Potts' 'The Glory Of Christmas' concert at The Royal Albert Hall in 2010.

Louisa was part of the children's chorus in Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the New London Theatre from 2003-2005, performing alongside Darren Day and Stephen Gately.

Louisa was also in the children's chorus for Les Miserables In Concert: 25 Years at The 02 Arena.

Louisa was a member of Capital Arts Children's Choir (Kathleen Shanks) from the age of 9 to 16. With the choir, Louisa performed recitals at Chequers for Cherie Blair and on tour in France at Chartres Cathedral and Disneyland Paris. Louisa also performed at The 02 Arena with 'SPIRIT' for the Voice In A Million Concert and as a backing vocalist for Matthew Crane singing 'You Raise Me Up.'

Louisa's Awards include a nomination for "The Sound Of Classical Poll" at the Classic BRIT Awards in 2018. In July 2019 Louisa was a semi-finalist and in the top 6 singers (the only singer representing England) at the Llangollen Eisteddfod Pendine International Voice Of The Future. Louisa was the runner-up and top Classical Vocalist in the U.K. final of 'The Next BRIT Thing' at the 02 Indigo in London (sponsored by Classic FM). Louisa was also runner-up in the Rotary Club Young Musician Of The Year in 2012.

Louisa has performed solo recitals at Hampton Court Palace, Windsor Castle, Bournemouth International Centre, Cardiff Millennium Centre and the Royal Albert Hall. Louisa has also performed as a soloist with London Cantamusica at 10 Downing Street, The Actors' Church Covent Garden, The Dorchester Hotel, The Victoria and Albert Museum.

In November & December 2019, Louisa was a soloist at Thursford Christmas Spectacular. Louisa released her first Single - Soul Of A Child composed by Kathleen Shanks in December 2019.

This April (2020), Louisa was meant to make her Gilbert and Sullivan professional debut with the role of Yum Yum in The Mikado (Opera South East).

Louisa has just released her first album Summer Rose.
