2016Foreman imbuing his portrayal with more pomp, bringing out the humour that bit more ... suitably mysterious, baffling and comic

2016Martin Foreman plays Hazel’s overbearing VAT inspector brother Austen as a compellingly wheezing, sepulchral version of Uncle Fester.

    About me

I have a distinctive appearance, a strong presence and a clear and sympathetic voice. My primary strength is as a character actor in a wide range of settings on the modern stage / screen and in classical drama.

Although often cast as a villain / criminal / assassin etc (The Stage called me "unnerving and at times completely terrifying" in The Duchess of Malfi), I have play more sympathetic and complex roles, such as Luka in Gorky's Lower Depths (June 2012) and a tormented priest in a one-man play (July 2012). I also have a good sense of comic timing.

The above voicereels are provisional and will be replaced with professional quality recordings shortly.
