Writer of 'The Fifth Wall'
The Fifth Wall is an immersive piece of theatre that explores very real and explicit issues such as life after trauma, suicide, sex work, sexuality, exploitation, healing, collective empathy and digs deep into how to strengthen our communities from the ground up in a war against gentrification and isolation of the individual. It does all this through the insights of four complex individuals in their late 20’s, each drilling against the current to make the world a better place in their own unique way; some more controversial than others.
We use the platform of a lively bar and music venue including drinks service and live acts, the audience physically follow Pod through the venue as he begins his journey through the afterlife post suicide. Catch! He doesn’t know he’s dead yet, how or why. Over the course of the evening he stumbles upon Jacq, ‘Paddy’ and Maeve who have led completely unrelated lives… until now.
Member of WQTN Collective.
WQTN is a radio sangha for artists across the earth. Our sole intention is to uplift, support and facilitate space for artists to be artists in society without the pressures of having to ‘put on’ or ‘promote’ what they are about or push content to survive. We are committed to mapping and making Space for art-life practice
We are about diversity, non-hierarchical, non-institutional, pro-black, pro-indigenous, pro lgbtqia2s+, democratic, community driven content. We acknowledge that we exist at a time where Media is used as propaganda and it is very dense to find reliable media places to get information. Away from social media and news, we are an independent platform that broadcasts the voices of the people.
