About me
Since leaving University after completing my bachelor’s degree in Musical Theatre I have had some amazing opportunities to build on my acting skills. From 2017 – 2019 I worked for Merlin Entertainments, one of the biggest entertainment companies in England where I was able to build on my site-specific work as an actor. I performed in varying roles which meant no two days were the same, and I would often come into work without knowing which character I would be performing which meant I had to be prepared for whatever rotation I was on. I have been performing since a very young age both on screen and stage, where I was cast as Luna in the Witches of Eastwick at the age of 11 which is where my love for performing really began. I have since revelled in the fact that I have been able to study Performing Arts and Musical Theatre from my A-levels through to my degree.Acting experience:
In 2020 (pre-COVID) I took part in an advert for Madam Tussuads in London however it wasn't realised due to COVID-19 as it was to advertise their new Marvel attraction which was forced to shut because of the pandemic.
Actor
Lapland UK, Ascot (seasonal) November 2018 & 2019
As an elf I had to escort children and their families through a woodland forest so that they could go and meet Father Christmas. Other responsibilities included;
• Appropriately and discreetly dealt with high profile celebrities and escorted them to visit Father Christmas.
• Liaised with FC control via a radio to ensure the smooth running of each family’s individual visit.
• Being enthusiastic with each guest whilst having a duty of care for the children and families that we interacted with in order to provide memorable family experiences.
• This role often tested my ability to think on my feet an improvise as lots of children would ask various different questions and all my answers had to be in keeping with the theme of the production and story of father Christmas.
Fright Nights Actor
Thorpe Park Resort Staines October ’17 ’18 and 2019
• Provided fun but scary immersive experiences for guests coming to Thorpe Park in the run up to Halloween.
• Underwent intense physical training: emotional recall, boot camp, stamina training
• I was able to expand on my ability to think quickly and effectively; due to the nature of Fright Nights as a scare actor I often had to resolve and maintain sensitive situations.
Actor
Thorpe Park, Staines (seasonal) July 2017 – November 2019
• Provided fun and entertaining experiences to all guests whilst being outgoing and confident as an actor in the ‘I’m a Celebrity Maze’ and Derren Brown Ghost train.
• Often encountered at least 350 groups a day, which tested my resilience.
• I was often performing the same 3 minute show on rotation so I had to make sure my last show of the day was just as enthusiastic and engaging as the first.
• Recited 6 different scripts.
• Communicated via a radio.
• Learnt various different call signs used across the whole park in case of emergencies.
