About me
Personal profile With a background in musical theatre acting and presenting in Hong Kong, I returned to the UK in 1998 to train at ArtsEd London (3 year acting course). I became an Equity member and performed in a number of ‘off west end’ theatre productions and short films, including The Best Thing You Ever Had, a two handed short film that won a BBC award and was screened at the National film festival. It was at this point that I got my break with the BBC, only to realise I was starting a family. To fit with this, I established and ran a vibrant Performing Arts School, as well as taking on selected corporate and theatre work. I am now in a position to return full force to my acting career and am keen to take on exciting new projects. I play to age 43-53 and am typically cast in sophisticated, nurturing or character roles, comedy being a huge passion of mine.Skills
