About me
I am a passionate, committed and naturalistic actor. I am a Company Member of the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and the National Youth Film Academy. I completed my full-time actor training at ArtsEd (Arts Educational Schools, London) in May 2017, which won The Stage's 'Drama School of the Year 2016' award. Previously, I received professional actor training at Canterbury Institute for Performing Arts, where I was awarded 'Best Actor' and the 'Performing Arts Award'. I have received specialist professional training in Motion Capture and also in the use of handguns and rifle for film and TV. I have a strong and clear voice and take direction well. I can promise hard work, reliability and professionalism. I have good general theatrical acting experience (some professional, but mainly amateur) and have been in 14 short and eight feature films (three in the lead role), and four TV programmes. In late 2017, I was cast in the title lead role for the feature film by Independent film Director, Al Carretta, entitled 'The Madness of Tellaralette Seville', which he described as a 'heavyweight dramatic role'. The film was released on Amazon Prime and VOD in May 2018. In Spring 2018, I played Emily in Director James Crow's French-filmed comedy horror, 'Last Village on the Right', alongside Dr Who's and Sarah Jane Adventure's Tommy Knight, which will be premiered in London in 2021 and distributed worldwide. Recently, I played a lead role of Alexandra King in the new TV series, 'The Blue Birds', which was released in November 2020, and played a lead role in James Crow's 'Nightmare on 34th Street', which was filmed in Norway and will be released in the USA in 2021. In October 2020, I played a key role in the final scene of acclaimed Producer Jonathan Sothcott's forthcoming feature film, 'Nemesis' from Shogun Films. The film, which includes Billy Murray, Julian Glover, Bruce Payne and Nick Moran, was released in the UK and USA at the end of March 2021.
My particular strengths are comedic, horror, emotional and period roles. I won't let you down! Please visit my website at www.oliviahespe.co.uk, which includes industry testimonials, film showreel, a theatre/stage showreel, monologues, my news, my full resume, a link to Spotlight and more photographs.
