About me
Since my graduation from The Poor School, I have been working as a freelance director at drama schools as well as creating and performing my own work. Working at these establishments has given me an irreplaceable environment to develop my craft and learn an extraordinary amount from experienced professionals. I have had the privilege of working with the director and former head of Voice at LAMDA Clare Davidson, as well as Paul Caister, Director at The Poor School.Prior to graduating, I have performed in a national tour of ‘Twelfth Night’ as well as a two month run at The Birmingham Arts Centre of ‘Much Ado about Nothing’ and The History Boys.
Directing has given me creative freedom to express and experiment with my vision of a play through the actors, and student actors have proven to be even more interesting to work with.
I am a confident sight reader, and strong Improviser and works regularly with Blunt Theatre Company most recently working on productions of ‘Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead’, ‘Hello from Bertha’ and ‘27 Wagons full of Cotton’.
