    In 2019 Paula completed the Uta Hagen Teacher Training Lab with Mark Nelson and Carol Rosenfeld at HB Studio, NY. As a director she worked on a staged reading of Ghosts by Ibsen at studio Soho. In early 2017 she produced a double bill titled “Strindberg’s Women” at the Etcetera Theatre, as part of which she adapted and directed Miss Julie in a radical modern re-working. in 2019 she directed Platonic by Duarte Bandeira at the White Bear, London.

    About me

    Paula is a Brazilian native. She moved to New York City to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. In 2013 she relocated to London and joined the Advanced Professional Diploma Course at the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting. Since graduating, she completed the advanced Meisner Technique course with acting coach Dannie Lu-Carr and Uta Hagen approach to acting with Carol Rosenfeld in NYC. She also attended voice workshops with Clare Davidson and Movement Psychology with Janet Amsden and Shakespeare workshop with Di Trevis.
