About me
I am a very versatile character actor with wide experience of corporate film work and theatre. I was trained at Leeds University plus the Embers Group (Meisner technique) and Actor’s Lab schools. I have many theatre credits including in Shakespearean productions, touring plays and TIE. Notable roles include playing writers Alan Bennett, Douglas Adams and poet Siegfried Sassoon (Lowry Theatre). Recently, I have expanded my corporate film work and played roles including a GP, senior police officer, customer, banker, salesman and father in films for multinational companies and large public and voluntary sector organisations. Feature film work includes playing the head of MI5 in a forthcoming spy drama and a lawyer in “My Jewish Auntie” broadcast at cinemas and on TV. I have completed walk-on roles in BBC and ITV dramas including “Prey” and “From Darkness”. Prior to becoming a full-time actor, I had a long career in television news, representing charities and the police on national television and radio.
