About me
I am and always will be a creative person, although I have many creative outputs, acting is the field in which I belong and excel. Having trained and been mentored by places such as the TV workshop, The Actors workshop Nottingham and the Nottingham playhouse in various different programs, performances and workshops.
After school jumping straight into work I soon became adept at working on set in both professional and relaxed scenarios. I am firm believer in the actor is to use their tools to realise the overarching vision of the other actors, writers and directors.
I am often reviewed as being easy to work with, reliable and very professional on set and this is a standard I hold myself to in every production. I truly believe the greatest tool an actor can have is the ability to work with others, both in scenes and on set.
In terms of my personal view on Acting I, like many others, follow the 'the system' outlined by Stanislavsky although I am constantly adapting techniques I learn to suit the production at hand, as each one is different. Creating a unique character which is true to myself and the story is the first task when accepting any job.
My experience ranges from things such as promotional work to represent my city, a list of short films both student and not and a feature film. From all of these I gained invaluable knowledge on both the processes of different techniques to bring to characters and how to ensure I play my part in making production to go smoothly.
Acting experience
I have studied drama since a young age with Heleon O'Grady's drama workshops. I have been part of the TV workshop Nottingham and the actors workshop after that, I have achieved Lamda Gold as well as earning both a GCSE and an A level qualification.
I have gained experience by appearing in multiple commercial shoots such representing different products and brands, similarly I have worked on a multitude of short films. I have also worked on a feature film. All of these have given me a deep and complex understanding of the workings on set.
