About me
Won 'Best Actor in a Drama' for Macbeth from Leeds Civic Arts Guild and nominated for same award by Wharfedale Festival.Yorkshire-based, experienced, versatile, capable and serious actor. Strong-voiced and character-driven I do it for love.
Additional skills:
As well as my skill in voice related work, I seem to consistently be requested to fill the roles of dark characters, including that of the Marquis de Sade. The Captain from new connections play, 'Starstone', Macbeth and serial killer Patrick MacKay for TV. My accents are varied and are delivered to a high standard of quality and clarity, while my manipulation of body has developed greatly as a result of emphasis on physical theatre during A-Levels and the contemporary dance and movement aspect of my degree. Through a high achieving dissertation, I also have a decent knowledge of the theory and practice in modern naturalistic stage preparation techniques.
Industry awards:
Best Actor in a drama; Leeds Civic Arts Guild
Additional information:
Have experience beyond my course requirements at University, of voiceover work as well as narrative work. Voiceovers include standard, strong neutral voices, as well as accented pieces.
