Robert Rees is an award-winning stage and television actor, degree-level drama teacher, and presentation coach to everyone from YouTube vloggers to CEOs.Acting experience:
Robert Rees is an award-winning stage and television actor, degree-level drama teacher, and presentation coach to everyone from YouTube vloggers to CEOs.
He began his training at the Arts Educational School of Acting, followed by a postgraduate degree at the Royal Academy of Music where he was awarded the prestigious Graham Norton Scholarship.
On graduation, Robert originated the part of Andreas in the UK tour of Robin LeFevre-directed Ladies in Lavender opposite Belinda Lang and Academy Award winner Hayley Mills, which won him a Broadway World UK Award for 'Best Featured Actor in a Play'. He has since gone on to gain notable credits in theatre productions around the world, including Torch in the UK premiere of Alan Bowne’s two-hander Beirut (Park Theatre London); Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap (St Martin’s Lane Theatre, London), Macbeth (UK & Middle East Tour); Robin Hood (Watford Palace); The Governess (UK Tour); Fugitive Kind (Donmar Warehouse); All The Fun Of The Fair (Garrick Theatre); State Fair (Trafalgar Studios); Hobson's Choice (Broadway Theatre); The Full Monty (Charing Cross Theatre); Shakespeare Sonnet Walk, directed by Mark Rylance (Globe Theatre) and Perchance to Dream (Finborough Theatre).
Robert played the iconic role of Peter Pan for two years running at the New Wimbledon Theatre and the Bristol Hippodrome opposite David Hasselhoff as Captain Hook.
Television includes: the face of the O2 commercials as 'Brian the O2 Guru'.
