    About me

I’ve not been really able to ‘fit’ in say with any other groups of people except actors, rugby players, writers and generally goofy people. I chat to these chaps and within 30 seconds it’s as if we’re part of the same village.

Whether its in the challenges of Theatre, Film or TV, Stand-Up Comedy I feel that you rise to the occasion when you perform in these forms. That challenge is thrilling to me and the best performances ones are when it looks easy but it’s obviously laboured to look that way or else it won’t entertain random people who can hook into it and be a part of it.

Whilst studying my English Literature Degree with the Open University, I decided to learn what it means to Act first with lessons at City Lit College in Covent Garden and thereafter with Robyn Paterson at the London Meisner Company. I found both of these experiences challenged my ideas of acting so that now I know the importance being focused in a scene is; giving all you’re attention over to the other actor and how to have faith that there will be always be something to work with in the other actor. Working with Robyn has taught to me to be humble, work hard and accept its going to take 20 years to be a proper actor. The most successful people are always the most determined.

I’m young but I’m hungry to learn from the best. I’m not doing this to be a celebrity or to have a bloody tiny golden statue. I want to do great work with great people. If I can make a living of that; I win everything.
