About me
I am an ambitious, committed, confident individual. I am looking for opportunities and experiences that can keep pushing me forward within this industry. I'm constantly looking to experiment with my acting work and I aim to never take the safe route as I always want to discover something new.I graduated University with a first class honours in Drama. Not only does this show that I can achieve strong results, through determination and hard work. It also shows that I have a passion and a range of experience for the subject area and the industry.
While being a hard worker, I also believe that I am a approachable, friendly guy which in the past has made me a good team player. Which has also helped me become a key member in a cast, rehearsals or ensembles. I am based in the North West of England, in the middle of Manchester and Liverpool. However working in London is now an option for me as I now have the option to stay there for the right opportunity.

Highlights
-
My acting experience primarily was built around acting on stage, this began in a performance of Sweeney Todd in which I played Judge Turpin. I then continued building off this experience and wanted to play a range of different, diverse roles. So playing roles such as Joey in Jim Cartwrights: Road, Emmanuel in Ariel Dorfmans: Widows and Mick in Harold Pinters: The Caretaker. And from such experiences like these, I so far believe that I'm achieving one of my goals as I do enjoy experimenting and pushing myself to discover new things.
I have now tried to gain experience in film, and for the past year have been focusing on gaining experience in this field. I discovered quickly how different acting for film was compared to stage, and from performing in a number of projects I am now comfortable to act for the camera and its an area that I believe that I get strong results from also.
I studied Drama at Edge Hill University, in which I graduated with a 1st Class Honours Degree in July 2012. By achieving this and studying at this University I was able to develop my acting skills and explore a variety of different styles of performance, practitioners, exercises and genres. This adds versatility to my acting work, as it allows me to draw ideas from a number of sources to find new ways to build scenes, characters and performances.
From working in the past in ensembles, workshops and rehearsals I believe I was seen as good team member and came across as hard-working, reliable and eager. This I was able to build off this summer I travelled to America to teach and direct theatre at Camp Emerson, a Summercamp. Where I was able to teach what I have learnt down my journey so far within this industry.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me, I am always searching for challenges and looking for opportunities that can push me forward
Best Regards
