About me
Since graduating from a Physical Theatre MA with Distinction in 2013, I have co-founded and successfully co-run an international touring company, Haste Theatre. We have won numerous awards, devised 6 original shows, are an Arts Council funded company, and create and deliver drama/acting workshops to a wide range of ages from primary school to professionals. Visit www.hastetheatre.com for more info.I am highly skilled in clown, comedy, physical storytelling, devising, multi-rolling, children's theatre, improv, immersive theatre and audience interaction.
"Skilled writer/performers Sophie Taylor and Jesse Dupré create such a warm and inviting world" - The Scotsman
"Sophie Taylor shines the brightest among this particularly iridescent team. Her diverse roles are each well-refined, from slapstick waiter to doctoral assistant, and, when given the choice, it is her the eye naturally falls upon in chorus scenes." - Redbrick Review
“Sophie Taylor’s a natural comedian... an easy gift for audience interaction” - San Diego Tribune
“played with comic perfection” - Adrian Johnson, Storytelling Laureate for Birmingham
“these highly trained and gifted professionals are... at the top of the game in acting, singing, dance, playing instruments and script-writing”
