Additional information:
"I recently worked closely with Stephanie Gunner on my latest feature film Popular Unrest, in which she played one of the leading roles. I auditioned just under a hundred candidates for the film, and although many of them were Stephanie's age and role type, she shone as the most talented, artistically flexible and rigorous actor. Rehearsals for the film involved a good deal of improvisation work and Stephanie's input in the process was invaluable. She continually showed a strong commitment to every aspect of her work whether it was getting to grips with her character or improvising surreal actions. Although Stephanie was easily the youngest member of the cast she had a skill and insight that were far beyond her years and experience. In the process of working with Stephanie I grew to really respect her ability and ambition as an actor. I highly recommend working with her."
(Melanie Gilligan, Director, Popular Unrest)
"Stephanie Gunner evidently relished her chance to play Berinthia from Vanbrugh's The Relapse. Whilst the text allows little room for experiment, Gunner plays the comedy to the hilt and negotiates the language superbly."
(Paul Vale, The Stage, MA Classical Acting Showcase)
"The lovers are finally brought together by the devil aka Woland, a theatrical magician played superbly with a menacing grace and superbly sustained limp by Stephanie Gunner."
(Dic Edwards, Theatre in Wales, The Master and Margarita)
"...beautifully laconic support by Stephanie Gunner and Catrin Fflur Huws's Bored Girls, whose downbeat attitudes were hilarious from start to end."
(Patrick Cooper, Theatre in Wales, Our Day Out)
"Pa Ubu was given a filthy, salacious and utterly fabulous portrayal by Carli Dalton, Sarah Mair Gates, Stephanie Gunner, Julie McNicholls and Lizzie Pugh, all of whom threw themselves into this role with everything they had, and were never less than watchable."
(Patrick Cooper, Theatre in Wales, Ubu Cuckolded)
