During my time at the University of Bristol, I starred in over fifteen productions. Some of my biggest roles included Caliban in an open air production of The Tempest for the 400th Anniversary of William Shakespeare, Middle Eastern lawyer El Fayoumy in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and Jeronimo, a Columbian student exchange student in a newly written full length comedy play called Ifs and Butts. I was part of a devised play called 'A Man of His Own Habitat', in which I played the dual roles of Alf (the best friend/betrayer archetype) and an Italian Gangster. I also took part in a short piece of immersive theatre called Grounded about race, set on a plane with six actors and twelve audience members, which was part of Bristol Gradfest 2017 and was awarded 1st class honours.
I have been part of many film productions, playing Postman in a short superhero spoof, the lead role in a sci-fi Film Master's final piece, and the lead role in 'Alan', an independent feature film shot in Bristol and London.
I write regularly, which gives me a good understanding of character and their role within a piece. I also perform stand up comedy semi-regularly, which is improving my comedic technique and interaction with audiences.
I have taken part in the Young Director's Scheme at the Bristol Old Vic, have completed the BFI Film Academy course and produced a wonderful little film called Fetch, as well as writing consistently over a variety of formats including journalism, interviews with comedians and musicians, plays, screenplays and short prose.
