    About me

Stu Jackson has spent most of his career in theatre, starting at the age of 15 in Washington, Tyne & Wear. Stu particularly excels in comedy, receiving praise for his roles as Stanley, in ‘Caught in The Net’ and Pochet in ‘Keep An Eye On Amelie’.

Stu discovered acting after the family moved to the North East in 1986. After studying in Sunderland, He has almost consistently been performing, throughout the North East, Cornwall, Bristol, Cardiff, London, and of course his adopted hometown of Swindon.

Recent work includes Directing 'Nightmare', and 'Seasons Greetings'. As well as extensive experience with comedies, Stu has also played more serious roles: recently in ‘Journey’s End’ as Trotter, and Henry in ‘Fumed Oak’.

When not spending time working, Stu likes to relax with learning to dance 'Salsa', or at local Jazz and comedy events.

Stu is currently looking forward to the filming of the TV pilot he has co-created and co-written, and further ahead to working on a BAFTA winning UK series!
