Education
Year Qualification Where 1991 Architecture University of Liverpool Additional Skills
High level baritone singer. Have sung with the Halle Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall, and performed Call Mr. Robeson at Carnegie Hall, New York.
Additional Information
The first play, Call Mr. Robeson, is about Paul Robeson, the African American actor and singer. The second play, Just An Ordinary Lawyer uses the life of Britain's first Black judge (also a singer) and his love of cricket to look at world history, and anti-imperialist, anti-colonialist and anti-racist struggles worldwide.
I am interested in screen work, generally short-term, to fit in with my touring schedule with my plays.
About me
I have become a professional internationally touring stage actor/singer almost by accident, having come across an interesting story and written a play about it, then going on to perform and tour it myself, both around the UK and in USA, Canada, Jamaica and Nigeria since 2008. Since August 2016, I have also been performing a second one-man musical play.
