    About me

I am Scottish (Fife), based in London.

I am a member of Equity and Spotlight and my playing age is 50-60 .

I have a good sense of comedy and very much enjoy parts with feisty, no nonsense women, but have also been cast in more serious roles, as darker, more manipulative characters.

I have good movement skills - have had dance training, and still enjoy tap dancing.! My singing range is 2 1/2 octaves (soprano), and I have basic piano and sight reading.

I have taught English as a Foreign Language to adults, which was great fun , but also a very humbling experience .

I enjoy studying regional accents, and have been cast to play a variety of parts using Geordie, Lancashire, Liverpool, Northern Irish, RP, Standard American, New York/ Brooklyn, as well as the variations of my own

    native Scots.

I love travelling and discovering places that help to give an insight into a character or a piece of drama ,

e.g. visiting Fuente Vaqueros in Granada , the birthplace of Garcia Lorca ; or , in another life , serving hamburgers on a hot summer's day in a diner in New York City ( " So waddya want ?? " )
