About me
At just aged 5 I always knew I wanted to perform. Living room performance whilst I pranced around reciting my favourite musical was a regular occurrence in my house. My parents and siblings were very co-operative and would always sit and watch in amazement despite having been sat in the same position for about half an hour. I was oozing with passion for the arts and it was evident. By age 6 I started to attend STAGE COACH every Saturday. Here I would learn the fundamentals of singing, acting and dancing and participate in yearly performances. It was my safe haven and always wanted Saturdays to come around sooner than later. Church also had a huge impact on my artist development and would regularly be asked to perform short monologues or solo piece in front of the congregation. This was a huge confidence builder. Flashing forward 10 years. At the age of just 16 I started the BRIT school of performing arts where I studied musical theatre, honing and improving on the skills I had learnt along the way and sealing my craft as a performer. In 2015 I had my first professional production of Hairspray the musical were I played a dynamite ( Shayna) at Fairfield halls theatre in Croydon . This was the pivotal moment in my life . From rehearsals to opening night, I knew there wasn’t anything else I wanted to do. Drama school was next and I was offered a foundation course at Mountview although the opportunity was huge the financial strain was huger and so sadly I declined. This didn’t stop me though. Since then I have worked alongside and been involved in productions with prestigious institutions such as TALAWA theatre company, Ovalhouse theatre, Battersea arts center, Brighton Fringe and many more. From there I discovered my love for writing and launched my blogs earlier this year were I would post original short monologues, on relevant and current topics. In the future, I would like to get into more tv/film work as most of my work is centered on the stage. Not only would it be a challenge but a new voyage to endeavor as an artist.Additional skills:
