  Additional Skills

  During my performance career I have also performed musically with several ensembles. Whilst at sixth form college I studied Music Performance as a BTEC and qualified with a double distinction as a percussionist and session drummer.

  About me

  I first began performing for stage and screen at the age of eleven at my primary school in Kidderminster, Worcestershire. I began, as many do, by performing in school musicals and stage shows at my local theatre, for example Fat Sam in 'Bugsy Malone' and Arthur Crabtree in 'Billy Liar' at The Rose Theatre in Kidderminster.

  From then on I took a keen interest in the creation and theoretical side of theatre, I chose to study Drama at A-Level and finally a Degree at The University of Exeter. Whilst studying I continued to add to my performance CV by playing Helge in 'Festen', Mr Gryce in the stage version of 'Kes' and Richard iii in the folio of the same name. Furthermore, I began to take workshops with industry leaders such as Peter Thompson on Shakespeare and Dramaturgical analysis with Cathy Turner.

  Following my graduation in July 2012 I founded my own theatre company alongside two fellow graduates, entitled Reverb. Our work focused on historical space and the use of multimedia and in September of 2012 we were awarded funding from The Arts Council England to produce a show called 'You With Me' alongside fellow Exeter based company 'Kaleider'.

  Since then I have worked consistently in the theatre, mainly as a performer. I have worked on projects ranging from national scale tours with theatres such as The Belgrade, Coventry to small village hall projects such as with Redhead Reach. I am currently based in Madrid, Spain with the theatre company Face 2 Face performing in their 2015 - 16 nationwide tour.
