    Additional Information

Seeking work in TV, Film and Theatre.

Trained at East 15 Acting School.

    About me

I am a 25 year old BAME actor from Hampshire. I was part of several youth theatre groups growing up including Chichester festival youth theatre and CSA. After working at the Circus fest season at The Roundhouse in 2012, I wanted to go to drama school and eventually guaranteed a place at East 15 on the contemporary theatre course. During my time at East 15, I worked alongside directors such as Simon Jones, Melanie Lamoff, Jesse Briton and had the pleasure to be mentored by Uri Roodner. I performed at venues such as The Yard, Camden Peoples Theatre and Soho Theatre.

I first gained credit from reviewers at Edinbrugh Fringe playing "Saoirse Mcheddy" as part of Stay Up Late Collectives "Yokes Night" in 2016.

"Lyons and Zoe Forrester, as the strangely likeable couple, generate a chemistry that gets

sparks flying throughout in a brace of winning performances". - The Stage

"One of Forrester’s monologues is delivered with such devastating honesty it pulls the entire

play from an exciting experimental piece of physical theatre into a humbling foray towards a

very exciting piece of theatrical art".- Broadway Baby

After I graduated, I wanted to concentrate more on TV and Film, and after some networking I gained some voluntary work as a runner on set for David Nicholas Wilkinson's "Postcards from the 48%", a political documentary that shows the people who voted to remain in the European Union and who continue to fight to stay involved with it. "Postcards" has been released in cinemas worldwide, and was first screened at the Houses of Parliament this year.

I have just finished filming "The Devil You Know", a spaghetti western written and directed by LFS graduate Kevin Barnett and now I am looking to continue building towards a career in film. I have particular interests in drama, sci fi and comedy, and I am currently trying to build up my skills in stage combat to be able to target action films too.
