About me
A successful music teacher and talented soprano with over 18 years' experience in the UK and beyond.A versatile singer and musician and committed and enthusiastic teacher, major strengths include vocal production, repertoire, musicianship and performance skills.

A talented soprano, Abigail is an accomplished and versatile singer and popular for her performances both on stage and in the concert arena. She has sung extensively across the UK and beyond over the last 18 years.
Performances include the roles of Susanna in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro, the Voice of Agnes in Agnes of God and Mabel in the Pirates of Penzance, as well as many other lead roles in the Savoy Operas. She is a well-respected soloist in oratorio and other major works, including Mozart's Requiem, Handel's Messiah, Haydn's Creation, Mendelssohn's Hymn of Praise, Vivaldi's Gloria, Mozart's Exsultate Jubilate and Orff's Carmina Burana, among many others. She has also sung many of the lead roles in the Savoy Operas. Her repertoire also comprises a great number of other songs, with songs cycles like Schumann's Frauenliebe und -leben being great favourites.
With a great love for all types of song, including lieder, art song and popular "classics", as well as opera and oratorio, Abigail has developed longstanding links with choirs, orchestras and groups (including brass bands!) across the Midlands and is regularly invited to guest in concerts of all kinds, as well as giving solo and ensemble recitals.Abigail has sung in many concerts and festivals and recently competed in the prestigious Llangollen International Eisteddfod. She has also been privileged to perform at important events including at the Queen's 8oth birthday celebrations in Birmingham, as well as several Remembrance Day and Armistice Day Services at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas. This included a televised performance during the Armistice Day service at Alrewas in November 2009, in front of HRH Earl of Wessex.
Abigail was a choral scholar during her time at St Peter's College, Oxford University and now sings under the tuition of Norman Wright. She became a Fellow of the London College of Music in 2005.
