About me

Experienced and competent dubbing mixer & sound recordist, with over 20 years practical experience producing high quality sound recording and mixes for TV & Film. I have a broad knowledge and full understanding of the processes involved in TV & Film sound, from the capture of production sound to the final mix.

Additional information:
Proficient and competent in Post Production workstations, including Pro Tools and Pyramix. Familiar with all Post Production standards, e.g. OMF, XML import/export, reconform etc. Experience of recording and placement of voice-over material, precise editing of music, working closely with Directors and Producers to achieve their aims. I am able to prioritise work-flows, work under extreme pressure and to tight deadlines.

Fully experienced Field/Production Sound Recordist, with good communication and decision making skills. Able to work as part of a team, ensuring the best possible capture of
Production sound. Familiar with use of radio mics and microphone placement, as well as working with other members of the sound team and shoot crew. Experience as a Dubbing Mixer ensures appreciation of what is required by Post Production.

I have recently undertaken a PTTLS teaching course, and also received enhanced CRB clearance.
